I would have loved her being the vice-president.And I sure wished she had a stronger running mate like Hertman Cain, a black conservative in Georgia.

Was she listening to Terry Gross on <a href="http://www.npr.org/templates/rundowns/rundown.php?prgId=13&prgDate=07-01-2009&view=storyview" rel="nofollow">Fresh Air</a> Wednesday, who said "I am suprised she hasn't gone into the entertainment side of politics and started a TV show."

Was a big surprise to me, and a dissapointment too, but I respect the decision and will be watching for the next episode with interest.

I vote for people not parties, more Americans should vote that way. After Palin ok the use of poisonous gas to be thrown in wolf dens to kill their pups because they are shooting wolves from helicopters I lost any respect I might of had for her as a leader, her constant drama she has in front of the media is embarrassing, suck it up and deal with Palin, and now giving Alaska 2 weeks notice on the 4th of July weekend with no reason as to why... typical of a Drama Queen, and people really want her as VP or worse President, God forbid she break a nail on the job!

Wups.I knew I was walking on thin ice when I said I would have liked her as VP.Didn't know anything about the wolf club poisoning.I hope we remain Flickr friends but I'm use to offending people since I'm a libertarian[fiscal conservative,socially liberal and rarely an electable canidate].Too bad we can't elect a canine,they could bite all the lairs and crooks in DC.

I agree AKfirebug, Drama Queen she is...I didn't really pay attention to all the comments about her, I didn't really know what she was doing for Alaska. But when you mentioned the poisoning a few weeks ago...my opinion was clear. So this is not a big loss.

I don't think the Republican party will ever take her seriously again, after all, she cost Mc Cain the election, didn't she? Who knows, now that Obama owes her big time, you are going to find her knocking on his door in 2012 to collect a little quid pro quo as Joe Biden's replacement and running mate! Hell, they're both excellent politians, all talk and no substance; a marriage made in heaven.

A true inspiration! So refreshing! (ps - I don't know what the fascination is, though, with her 'feet' - the reason I'm saying this is I've just heard so many acquaintances in bars say that 'they'd love to worship her feet...' - Why is this? - I have no idea - I'm just sayin'....But - since she has taken a 'sabbatical' from politics, she could make a million if she ever decided to 'try her hand' as being a 'foot domme!') - Sarah - You Rock!
